A noskillz PM or something??

I love the broad brush with which you paint, Celorn. A not-so-subtle implication being: if you build PM toons, you therefore have no building skills (or don't care to employ any). I guess you could say the same of Divine-based casters (read Clerics) , since there is no spell selection required when leveling. On other servers I've played, I don't recall anyone belittling players who elected to build Sorcerers instead of Wizards because it was, by their own admission, less of a pain and simpler. But people don't make PMs here because they haven't skills (though some may have coincidentally had few skills - as you might find with any faction); they are usually looking to make the most powerful toon possible (as some were with Clerics a ways back). The fact that a) there have been countless complaints about PMs on the forums and b) the class has been recently nerfed proves my point.

Yeah mages are super cheap too... often the best class against a PM.

As far as playing builds that show you have "skills" is your thing... try Assassin... definitely one of the hardest classes I've ever played... especially with only one prestige class allowed. I remember PKing other folks with mine... of equal and sometimes higher level...

...immunity to paralysis is pretty easy to get though.

I would play a sorcerer over a mage because of the lack of quickslots. What's the point of having every spell in the book when you can quickly cast 36 of them, and the rest require the gloriously slow radial menu?

I generally lump sorcerers and wizards into the "mage" category since there is no mage class.
