Pure Class Items

A question for the devs, any info on when we will be seeing these items?
I'm guessing probably not for another month or two...
Also, any info on what kind of bonuses these peices of equipment will be given?

whats pure class items? restricted items to pure classes?

Yes, items that are restricted for use by single class characters.
The devs mentioned that there would be items of these types in NS to promote more Pure Classes since multiclassing done properly more often than not gives you more power over all as a character. (Rogue/SD for example)

multiclassing is supposed to make characters more versatile, but not more powerful.

for example, my sorc38/pally1/rogue1 is meant to be versatile. i gave up 2 sorceror levels in order to gain better defense against knockdown, better saves, better ac, even +8 HP! however, this improved defense doesnt give me more power as a spellcaster.

True enough, but I am being nice in putting it in a post so that the devs can answer everyone and not have to pm 300 ppl the answer

No need to even look at the location - going from like no posts to 400 in a week is enough to tell lol. You must have missed the earlier instructions the rest of us all received from Joran . . .

Heh - could be my bad - I thought you were like at 160 like last week - could be a different jester. Anyway no need to debate this here as it's too far off topic lol.

As far as the pure class items, it will be good to find out about them sooner than later since it does impact your choices down the road.

A fighter depends on items. You can multiclass and stuff but you will always depend on items to do damage and survive as a fighter based.
Oh, but wait, you are a sorceror. Then sorry, you can go naked and use your spells to wipe everything and everyone and don't care about what you are wearing, after all your buffs soak everything and your summon can do the tank job.

If you want i'll buy a sorceror, wizard, or cleric too and will go around naked with your same sarcasm. But you know, actually there are other classes in this game that someone could even chose to not use only as an addiction for their caster.

I generally focus on different builds since I don't know items here anyway. But if there were uber pure class items then I might focus on pure class builds!

I prefered a Pure sorc B4 HoU but now the last 2 lvls of sorc dont give me ANYTHING over a sorc 38 monk1 pally1
