Yeah Gilad's saves are not so great (which may be a British understatement) but I had fun fighting you lot and im glad to see Doc's Warrior taking part just a shame I wasn't on when he was

That was a great war! Diddy and i put in about 30 hours on this one, very little sleep :)

* LA : Moody - this toon tipped the scales on so many battles i could not keep track
* NC : Galahad - a real pain in Sir Hert's side, literally :)
* RK : Shishio - very brave, many raid attempts
* SL : Laufer - just about the only sl to make a real attempt, did a wonderful job
* TC : Arwen Moon
* MA : Doc's Warrior
* AO : Komodo Dragon - only had a 20 something toon but had the, umm, "jewels* to come fight to the death anyway

I wish i could vote twice for la because Drinn made a HUGE difference as well late at night.

i would vote for Sir Hert but since pally's were nerfed half way through the war he has become semi-useless, thanks for that one, i really appreciate it :(

* LA : Sir Hert (even though halfway through event they nerfed the . . . out of him)
* NC : Kermit
* RK : Shishio (if there was someone else to vote for i would) :twisted:
* SL : Laufer (if there was someone else to vote for i would) :twisted:
* TC : Arwen Moon
* MA : Doc's Warrior
* AO : Komodo Dragon

pretty sure i have my toons/factions right..
but yeah. . so . . tired. . after. . . event. . .i think we slept like 3 1/2 hours. .and took little breaks.. so 30/36 hours wasn't bad lol

Good work with all of your votes. It was nice to see so many different players honored. The LA and NC mvp's were an extremely close call, as it should be. FYI, Manic of LA, and Fezzick of NC came within 1 vote each of being tied for their factions mvp.

Here are your honored warriors for each city.
  • Last Alliance : Moody
  • Northern Coalition : Kermit
  • Ragnar's Kin : Shishio
  • The Circle : Arwen Moon
  • Shadow Legion : Laufer
I will personally track down each of these players and reward them for being honored by their allies and enemies.
p.s. I would like each of the winners to send me a pm with a login name that they are most active with.

Tsavong wrote:MA and AO missed out on MVPs
I had originally decided that an answer to this was unnecessary, but what the heck.

My decision for which factions were to be recognized with a MVP were based on time spent on Relic Warfare. Think of it as this way. MA and AO did not miss out, but RK, SL and TC jumped in. They had individuals that devoted a great amount of time, energy and resources towards Relic Warfare. To further the point, RK, SL and TC had some degree of success against the leading faction, the leadership to devise effective tactics, strategy, and teamwork, and the ability to create fear amoungst the LA defenders.

By all means, create another thread and carry on your debate. I will give it another day, and then the off-topic posts will be deleted.

Gratz to all who were awarded with MVP honors.

When it comes to AO and MA particpation and awarding MVP. Even if there were only one or two people who participated, they still should be awarded. I would think the intent is to increase participation and so even if there was only one person who participated and being the only one they'll get an award by default, they still should get an award. Maybe next time one or two others will participate purely in the hopes that they might be considered for an award. On another note, I know Doc's Warrior spent 2-3 hours on Friday raiding with us, which is quite a bit of time for anyone imho to sit in front of a computer.

Furthermore the amount of success shouldn't dictate the awarding of MVP's. The fact that despite being lone rangers they went out and gave it a shot or teamed up with others to try and have an impact should count for something. That's far better than seeing the same ol' faces doin the same ol' dance. I would think that we would want to encourage participation in these events, from all the factions and not encourage people to join factions where their participation will have more chances of being recognized.

Grats to the winners. I was unable to participate, but it appears that it was yet again a diverse and widespread event. Thanks to the staff for the event as well.
