I truly appreciate the time and effort devs put into NS4, good, bad or indifferent. It has some of the most unique scripting that I have ever seen on any server.
It is unfortunate that they haven't had the time to fully develop jobs for SL and AO, but why should players suffer because of it? It's been, how many years now? (No insult intended towards Zing or any of the devs) I fully understand the exploit as it was explained. Specially if you have job items from your own faction then seek out a second set from your sister's faction, yes. Bad bad on you.
But when there is nothing in your faction and your extremely involved in PvP -Relic Raids why must the "have not" players take the brunt of the "lack of development". Why should they play at an overall disadvantage particualy when up against a powerful factions who have job abilities that are almost design for PvP?
Why in this particular case can't the rule be relaxed with an explanation of: "They don't have jobs so we're allowing that faction to earn items from their sister faction until jobs for their's comes in."
Why does it have to be so inflexable? It hurts absolutely no one, except those who want to whine about it. There is no harm done to the server in any way. It would, in a manor, increase player base in those factions that are sadly lacking jobs. If and when jobs come into the factions that have not, then the items from their sister faction could be removed. It is the classical situation then of "having something, is better than nothing".
Or is this a case of the "Haves" making sure that the "Have Nots" not have? If this is not the case, are players from factions with jobs willing to not use their special job abilities during PvP incase the PC they are fighting is from a faction without jobs? Are they willing to PvP on that kind of equal field?
After all, by your own statements, no one knows when jobs will be going in. Could take weeks or months. Maybe another year or two.
question about jobs...
