Just west of [[Neversummer_City|Neversummer City's]] southern outpost lie the Badlands. This area is riddled with a large number of chasms spanned by rope bridges, and is unfortunatly one of the bases of operation used by the infamous [[Dorian_Coast|Dorian Coast]] [[:Category:Bandits|bandits]]. It is the only place in [[Aetheria]] where [[Malar_Panthers|Malar panthers]] are known to exist, and is also home to the stealthy and vicious [[Werecats|werecats]]. Despite the dangers here, the badlands are still heavily travelled, as it is one of only two ways to reach the dismal and perilous swamp known as [[Haddon_Mirk|Haddon Mirk]] in the far southwest of Aetheria.
