The Dark Forest is a desolate, gloomy place just outside the northern gates of [[Avendell]]. It is a very uncivilized place, inhabited by greedy [[Lesser Goblins]], [[Intermediate Goblins]], and [[Mountain Ogres]].

There are roads leading out of [[Avendell]] that go through the Dark Forest, and split to the [[Old Trade Route]] on the east and the [[Ogre Pass]] on the right. There is a rift shard as well, and is bindable to by people of all [[:Category: Factions|Factions]]. It is specifically located in a Goblin Hut.
