This druidic faction has settled in the [[Enchanted Forest]], welcoming all [[Ranger |rangers]], [[Druid |druids]], [[Barbarian |barbarians]], and the odd wandering [[Bard |bard]] of any race and of neutral (non evil) or chaotic good alignment. Members of The Circle are divided into three Orders or Clans: The Bears ([[Ranger]]s), The Boars ([[Bard]]s), and The Wolves ([[Barbarian]]s); the heads of each Order (The Bear, The Boar and The Wolf), along with the [[Druid |Druids]] currently ruled by Lady Feon, constitute the Circle's Council.

While not the largest faction, The Circle counts among its allies all forest-dwelling animals and creatures of Aetheria, including fearies (such as [[Nymphs]], [[Dryads]], etc.) and the wood elves of [[Li'norarla]], but excluding animal monsters (such as [[Niragawa Tigers]], [[Arctic Wolves]], [[Hell Hounds]], etc.). The Circle's territory comprises all of [[Melencia Forest]] (including [[Melencia Pass]]) to the north and east of its capital, as well as all of the Enchanted Forest it's south and east.

The Circle's close connection with nature and balance puts them directly in conflict with the pure arcane power of the [[Mystral Ascendancy]], and The Circle have taken it on themselves to rid the world of the arcane menace. To this effect, The Circle has allied itself with the [[Northern Coalition]].
